Description:

An established international commodity trading organization headquartered in Dubai is looking for a skilled Fund Accountant to join its growing finance team. With more than four decades of industry experience, the company offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic trading environment handling high-value financial operations.

In this role, you will contribute to fund accounting, import accounting, financial reporting, treasury support, and compliance activities. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting knowledge, experience within trading or investment environments, and the ability to deliver accurate financial information while supporting global business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage fund accounting activities, including NAV calculations, valuations, and reconciliations.

• Account for derivatives, futures, and options transactions.

• Handle import accounting, landed cost calculations, and foreign currency transactions.

• Prepare financial statements and management reports in accordance with IFRS.

• Support treasury operations, including cash flow monitoring, Letters of Credit, and Bank Guarantees.

• Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax, VAT, and statutory regulations.

• Enhance accounting systems, financial processes, and internal controls.

• Collaborate with the India-based finance team and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Requirements:

• CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA (or equivalent), or currently pursuing a professional accounting qualification.

• 3–5 years of experience in fund accounting and import accounting.

• Previous experience within an investment, commodity trading, or asset management environment.

• Good understanding of UAE Corporate Tax and VAT regulations.

• Fluency in English and Hindi.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and Microsoft Excel skills.

Strong knowledge of:

• Derivatives, futures, and options accounting.

• IFRS financial reporting standards.

• Treasury operations, reconciliations, and financial controls.
