Homecare Caregiver

Location – Al Karama , Dubai

  • Childcare and Development: Provide attentive and nurturing care for children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development. This includes feeding, bathing, dressing, and engaging in age-appropriate activities.
  • Health Monitoring: Monitor the health of the adults/children under your care, including observing vital signs, checking for signs of illness or discomfort, and reporting any concerns to parents or medical professionals.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, following proper dosage instructions and maintaining accurate records of medication administration.
  • Medical Procedures: Perform basic medical procedures, such as wound care, dressing changes, and first aid. Follow medical protocols and seek guidance from healthcare professionals when necessary.
  • Health Education: Provide health education to parents and caregivers regarding child/adult safety, nutrition, hygiene, and other important aspects of child/adult health and development.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Communicate and coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals involved in the child’s/adults care. Follow medical instructions and assist in scheduling and attending medical appointments.
  • Emergency Response: Stay prepared for emergencies and respond promptly and appropriately in case of accidents, injuries, or sudden illnesses. Perform CPR or other life-saving techniques if necessary and seek immediate medical assistance.
  • Developmental Support: Support the child’s/adults cognitive, social, and emotional development through age-appropriate activities, educational play, and stimulating interactions.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of the child’s/adults daily activities, health status, medications administered, and any significant events. Share necessary information with parents/guardians and healthcare professionals.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Establish open and effective communication with guardian’s, keeping them informed about the child’s /adult’s progress, health updates, and any concerns that arise. Collaborate with parents/ guardian’s to create a consistent and supportive caregiving environment.
  • Professional certification in caregiving would be an advantage. A professional and friendly attitude.
  • A willingness to work flexible hours, which may include night shifts. Should be patient, empathetic, and have strong people skills.
  • Observant and committed to making our clients feel safe and comfortable. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
