The organization is currently hiring a Data Analyst (Remote) to join its Finance Analytics team. This role is focused on transforming raw data into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making, improve financial performance, and enhance business operations. The successful candidate will contribute to building and improving data systems, developing reports, and providing insights that directly influence business strategy and financial planning initiatives within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect, clean, validate, and organize data from multiple internal and external sources.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable business insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Develop, write, and maintain SQL queries and database structures to support reporting and analysis needs.
• Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations that communicate data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Calculate key performance indicators (KPIs), financial metrics, and operational benchmarks to support decision-making.
• Present findings and recommendations in a clear, concise, and business-friendly format.
• Support the development of a scalable data ecosystem and improved analytics capabilities within the organization.
• Assist in ongoing data quality improvement and ensure accuracy and consistency across reporting systems.
• Perform additional analytical duties as assigned to support the finance and business analytics teams.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis or a similar analytical role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and database management.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial principles, KPIs, and business metrics.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to translate complex data into simple, actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Excel and data reporting tools.
