Hiring Network Engineer

Job Description:

Looking for an ideal candidate with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Network Engineer roles, demonstrating expertise in firewall management, antivirus software, network management, server maintenance, cloud maintenance, and Office 365.

Responsibilities:

• Offering technical support to end-users on a variety of IT issues, encompassing hardware, software, and network complications.
• Overseeing and sustaining firewalls to ensure network security and prevent unauthorized access.
• Installing, configuring, and managing antivirus software throughout the organization’s systems to safeguard against malware and other security risks.
• Monitoring and resolving issues related to network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and access points, to maintain seamless operation and connectivity.
• Executing regular server maintenance tasks, such as software updates, backups, and security patches.
• Managing cloud-based services and platforms.
• Administering databases, including backups, data recovery, and performance optimization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer
• Strong knowledge of firewall management, antivirus software, network management, server maintenance, cloud maintenance, and database maintenance.
• Sound knowledge of popular firewall brands (e.g., Cisco ASA, Fortinet, etc.) and antivirus solutions (e.g., Symantec, McAfee).
• Proficiency in network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing.
• Experience with server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server) and server virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with end-users and stakeholders.
