Description:
United Engineering Construction (UNEC) is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for accounting professionals with extensive UAE construction industry experience who can contribute to financial operations and reporting in a dynamic environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong accounting expertise, hands-on experience with ERP systems, and the ability to manage financial processes efficiently. Candidates currently based in the UAE and available for immediate joining will be given priority.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily accounting operations and ensure financial records are accurate and up to date.
• Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Maintain the general ledger and monitor financial transactions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
• Coordinate with internal departments to support financial reporting requirements.
• Utilize the Epromis ERP system for accounting and financial management activities.
• Support audits and month-end and year-end closing processes.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
• 8–12 years of UAE accounting experience.
• Construction company experience is mandatory.
• Proficiency in Epromis ERP.
• Candidates currently inside the UAE who can join immediately.
• Arabic nationality is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Financial accounting and reporting.
• Epromis ERP and accounting systems.
• Budgeting, reconciliations, and financial compliance.
