Description:
BW Interiors is seeking an experienced Senior Joinery Estimator to become part of its Estimating and Joinery team in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a strong background in joinery estimation, cost planning, and tender preparation within the interior fit-out industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, evaluating material costs, conducting quantity take-offs, and supporting tender submissions while ensuring cost-effective solutions for joinery projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for joinery and interior fit-out projects.
• Perform quantity take-offs and evaluate project specifications and drawings.
• Prepare tender estimates and support the bid submission process.
• Source and evaluate material pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor project costs and recommend cost-effective solutions.
• Coordinate with project, design, and procurement teams to ensure estimate accuracy.
• Maintain updated pricing databases and estimation records.
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in joinery estimating, preferably within the UAE.
• Strong understanding of material pricing, quantity take-offs, tendering, and cost management.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently while meeting project deadlines.
