Description:
SINOTRANS (HK) LOGISTICS LIMITED is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Billing Assistant to join its logistics team in the UAE. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with previous UAE billing experience who can accurately manage invoicing processes and support daily financial operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing invoices, maintaining billing records, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring accurate documentation while contributing to the smooth operation of the company’s logistics services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and issue invoices for logistics, transportation, and delivery services.
• Verify billing information, quotations, delivery orders, and supporting documents before processing invoices.
• Coordinate with operations and sales teams to ensure timely and accurate billing.
• Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, credit notes, and customer accounts.
• Follow up on pending invoices and coordinate with the accounts team regarding outstanding payments.
• Reconcile customer statements and investigate billing discrepancies.
• Maintain proper filing of billing documents and assist in preparing monthly billing reports.
• Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Previous UAE experience in billing, preferably within a logistics, freight forwarding, or transportation company.
• Good knowledge of logistics billing procedures and related documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with ERP, accounting, or logistics software is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Candidates must currently be based in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Logistics billing procedures and documentation.
• Microsoft Excel, MS Office, and ERP/accounting software.
• Invoice reconciliation, customer accounts, and billing records.
