Description:
Saudi Paper Group is seeking qualified accounting professionals to join its finance team across Dammam and Riyadh. Multiple opportunities are available for different accounting levels, including Accountant, Branch Accountant, and Chief Accountant roles.
The selected candidates will support financial operations, reporting, reconciliations, compliance activities, and accounting processes while ensuring accuracy and adherence to applicable accounting standards, Saudi tax requirements, and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage general ledger activities, journal entries, and financial reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Handle daily accounting transactions, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial documentation.
• Manage branch expenses, petty cash, and operational finance activities for branch accounting roles.
• Monitor customer collections, supplier payments, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and financial analyses.
• Support budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial performance reporting.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, Saudi accounting standards, ZATCA regulations, and internal control procedures.
• Supervise accounting activities and support finance teams where required.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Knowledge of general ledger accounting, journal entries, and financial reconciliations.
• Ability to prepare financial reports and support closing activities.
• Familiarity with Saudi VAT regulations and ZATCA requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Previous experience in branch accounting or operational finance is preferred for Branch Accountant roles.
• Significant accounting experience with supervisory responsibilities is preferred for Chief Accountant roles.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, Saudi accounting standards, and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel is preferred.
• SOCPA membership or relevant professional accounting certification is preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Strong knowledge of:
• General ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Saudi VAT, ZATCA requirements, and accounting compliance
• ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and financial controls
