Description:
SMPRO Events is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with practical accounting experience who are comfortable working with Zoho Books and Microsoft Excel in a fast-paced business environment.
The selected candidate will support daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, prepare reports, and assist with audit-related activities. The role requires excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining financial accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with day-to-day accounting transactions, invoicing, and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Record accounting entries and perform account reconciliations using Zoho Books and related Zoho software.
• Prepare financial spreadsheets, reports, and data analysis using Microsoft Excel.
• Support the finance team during audit compliance procedures and document verification.
• Ensure financial records are updated accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist in maintaining organized accounting documentation and records.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of corporate accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Zoho Books and Zoho Invoice is required.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a finance team.
