Description:
A company based in Dubai is seeking a tech-savvy and detail-oriented Accountant to manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and general accounting functions. The role requires strong accounting knowledge combined with advanced technical skills in Excel and familiarity with automation and AI-driven financial tools.
The ideal candidate will support day-to-day financial operations, assist in month-end closing activities, and help improve financial workflows through automation tools. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and modern finance technologies will be considered a strong advantage. Immediate availability is required for this urgent role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process and manage Accounts Payable transactions and supplier invoices
• Reconcile supplier accounts and maintain AP aging reports
• Handle Accounts Receivable, including invoicing and collections tracking
• Monitor cash flow and ensure timely receipt of payments
• Prepare journal entries and support month-end closing activities
• Perform bank and intercompany reconciliations
• Assist in audit preparation and financial reporting
• Support finance automation and workflow optimization initiatives
Requirements:
• 2–3 years of accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT, Corporate Tax, and UAE tax regulations
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VBA/macros preferred)
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a strong advantage
• Familiarity with AI and automation tools (Power Automate, ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.)
• Strong analytical, communication, and attention-to-detail skills
• Must be currently based in the UAE (visit or residence visa acceptable)
• Immediate availability required
