An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Principal AI Engineer to join a cutting-edge AI Factory initiative in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-scale AI solutions while leading the technical direction of advanced artificial intelligence projects.
This position is ideal for a seasoned AI professional with extensive experience in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), distributed systems, and cloud-native technologies. The role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on engineering expertise, and a proven track record of delivering production-ready AI platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Architect and develop scalable, production-grade AI systems for enterprise applications.
• Lead the design and implementation of Generative AI, LLM, RAG, and Agentic AI solutions.
• Build and optimize distributed backend architectures and microservices.
• Deploy and manage AI workloads using cloud-native infrastructure and modern deployment platforms.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor engineering teams, and drive best engineering practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality AI solutions that meet business objectives.
Requirements:
• 15+ years of overall professional engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Python, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Agentic AI.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, backend architecture, and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with LLM serving, PostgreSQL, Microsoft Azure, and Kubernetes.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and delivering production-ready AI systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Python and AI application development
