Biomedical Sales Specialist / Sales Engineer

Role Description:

Reporting to the Medical Division Manager, this position will be responsible to achieve the sales goals for medical equipment products or services to businesses across UAE.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing sales strategies to optimize sales, growth, market penetration, and profitability in medical device.
  • Expanding medical device development business including but not limited to concept development, technology feasibility, and full product development and focused problem solving.
  • Serving as sales lead in specific target market areas regardless of geography and attend conferences and trade shows that focus on these markets.
  • Maintaining and building effective relationships with key and target accounts, healthcare industry leaders and industry associations.
  • To Meet or exceed agreed upon sales goals.
  • To qualify viable leads and communicate them to appropriate team members for further evaluation and support. Work with proposal team to craft winning strategies.
  • To develop strong relationships with key internal operations (technical) and management personnel.
  • Being responsible for delivering against personal and business unit financial targets, including sales, gross margin, and contribution margin.
  • To Identify and work with Marketing and Technical team to champion appropriate internal investments to solve unmet market or client needs and grow business, especially in target market.

To be Successful, Applicant:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering/ preferably in medical or a related field.
  • 5+ years or above experience in similar profile.
  • A strong hands-on experience and understanding of the UAE market.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
