Description:

Accounts Manager required

Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data. Preparing, maintaining, analyzing, verifying and reconciling complex financial transactions, statements, records, and reports. Assists in the formation of the assigned budgets, annual audit and year end closing.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Responsible for preparation of monthly management reports (MIS) in line with Financial Statements and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Month end closing and finalization of books
  • Provide trend analysis and financial insights to the Management to support decision making
  • Preparation of Annual Budget
  • Variance Analysis with Budget and previous periods
  • Prepare department wise performance reports reconciled to reported Financial Statements
  • Reviews and tracks of expenses
  • Reviews the same with Budget
  • Tracks Capital Expenditure with Budget
  • Cost benefit analysis for decision making including for new investments
  • Strengthening operations process that have financial implications
  • Communication & Working Relationships
  • Liaise with operations finance, Process Analyst

Qualification

  • Master in Commerce or CA or CMA or ACCA
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar environment and preferably having Big 4 experience.

Skills:

  • Principles and practices of cost accounting and accounting including IFRS.
  • Experience of working in ERP environment
  • Formulating budget preparation and ensuring control
  • Strong knowledge of processes, risks and controls
  • Analyzing complex financial transactions.
  • Maintaining efficient and effective financial systems and procedures.
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office & MS Excel.
