Hiring Data Engineer – Informatica Development/Production Support

Duration: 6 Months & Extendable

Job Description:

• Data Engineer as part of the Core production team.
• Ideally through experience you will enhance your skills on Prod fixes/Enhancements/Bug Tracking.
• The candidate should have a strong foundation in Informatica Big Data Management, including development, maintenance, and support.
• ETL and Data Integration: A deep understanding of ETL concepts, data integration methodologies, and data warehousing is essential.
• SQL and Database Management: Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems such as Hive, Oracle, SQL Server, or others.
• Scripting: Familiarity with scripting languages like Unix/Linux Shell scripting can be beneficial.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills are crucial for identifying and resolving production issues efficiently.
• Cloud Technology: Would be a plus if the Candidate have an exposure to Azure, AWS.
• Support: Support Specialist

Frameworks, boundaries, & decision making authority:-

• Functions within the framework and boundaries of DAAI policies as well as overall organisational and governance frameworks.
• Authorised to take decisions as per the approved authorisation matrix.

 Qualifications & Experience:-

• Production Support: Monitor and maintain Informatica BDM Environments, actively resolving production issues, and ensuring high availability.
• Development and Enhancement: Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL workflows and mappings. Gather requirements for new data integration solutions and enhancements.
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain comprehensive documentation of ETL processes and share knowledge with team members. Assist in training new team members.
• Quality Assurance: Implement data validation checks and quality controls to ensure data accuracy.
• Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize Informatica workflows and mappings to improve performance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve data integration-related problems.
• . On-Call Support: Provide on-call support as needed to address critical production incidents.
