Description:

Hiring Batch Plant Mechanic (Ready-Mix Concrete) Required:

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for plant demobilization, erection, start-up, and commissioning.
• Maintain and upkeep plants and related major and minor ancillaries in good and safe working conditions.
• Perform daily walk-around inspections of plants and ancillaries before and during operational activities.
• Execute periodic preventive maintenance schedules for plants and ancillaries.
• Conduct visual oil analysis during drain periods and inspect related moving parts for abnormal wear, reporting to the Foreman/Supervisor.
• Coordinate with the Plant Supervisor/Plant Electrician and third parties for Lock Out/Tag Out procedures during scheduled or unscheduled plant repairs/adjustments.
• Perform and restore mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic plant components/subassemblies to save costs and replacement stocks.
• Conduct tests and inspections of mechanical equipment, electro-hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to evaluate performance.
• Responsible for maintaining daily job-related records.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum 3 years of industry experience (cement), preferably 1 or 2 years in Ready-mix Concrete Industry.
• Proficient in all aspects of ready-mix plant operation and major ancillaries.
• Skilled in conducting general overhauling of mechanical components.
• Experienced in troubleshooting mechanical failures and identifying root causes.
• Familiar with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, key components of ready-mix plant equipment
• Possesses basic safety knowledge applicable to plant operations.
• Fluent in Hindi/Urdu (mandatory) with optional proficiency in English (read/write/speak)
