Hiring Senior Staff Nurse (Adult/Pediatric)
Work Location: Zayed Higher Organization, Al Mudeef Centre, Al Mafraq, Abu Dhabi
Essential – Successful completion of BS in Nursing / DOH Abu Dhabi or transferable UAE license as a Registered Nurse or home country license eligible for DOH License
Desirable – Certification/diploma/post grad qualifications in related fields, such as Intellectual Disabilities
Minimum 5 yrs. post-graduation experience in settings including inpatient/long term residential/community care (adult/pediatric)
Experience with a neurologically impaired population with +/- experience in the handling of cognitively & behaviorally challenged patients (adults/pediatrics) +/- varying degrees of physical limitations
Experience as shift coordinator, leadership & mentoring, performance appraisal, competency assessment, performance development, & the recruitment of team members
Overall responsibility for ensuring safe, effective, age and specialty appropriate patient care is delivered according to the Nursing Scope of Practice, as defined by the regulatory body in an interdisciplinary environment.
Responsible for managing & leading a team of nursing staff
