Senior Staff Nurse Adult/Paediatric)
Successful completion of BS in General Nursing
Certification/diploma/post grad qualifications in related fields either clinical or administrative showing personal development.
DOH Abu Dhabi or transferable UAE license as a Registered Nurse or home country license eligible for DOH License.
Minimum 5 yrs post-graduation experience in settings including inpatient/long term residential/community care (adult/pediatric)
Experience with a neurologically impaired population with +/- experience in the handling of cognitively & behaviorally challenged patients (adults/pediatrics) +/- varying degrees of physical limitations
Experience as shift coordinator, leadership & mentoring, performance appraisal, competency assessment, performance development, & the recruitment of team members.
Overall responsibility for ensuring safe, effective, age and specialty appropriate patient care is delivered according to the Nursing Scope of Practice, as defined by the regulatory body in an interdisciplinary environment.
Responsible for managing & leading a team of nursing staff.
