Description:

We are urgently hiring a Senior Accountant who will be responsible for managing financial activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic insights to support business decision-making.

Responsibilities: –

• Prepare and consolidate financial statements, reports, and analyses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Work in the development of annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts, incorporating input from various stakeholders and aligning with strategic objectives.
• Conduct financial analysis and performance evaluations to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes.
• Monitor and control costs, expenses, and budget variances, implementing measures to optimize efficiency and profitability.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital, ensuring adequate funding for operations and strategic investments while minimizing financial risks.
• Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, taxation requirements, and accounting standards in UAE and KSA, liaising with external auditors and regulatory authorities as necessary.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks and uncertainties associated with UAE and Saudi Arabia operations, implementing appropriate controls and risk management strategies.

Requirement: –

• Attested Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) preferred.
• Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in finance and accounting roles, preferably within the construction industry or related sector.
• Proven track record of financial management, reporting, and analysis, with strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
• Experience in multinational or regional financial management, particularly in the Middle East, with familiarity with UAE and KSA regulatory environments.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and cultures.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Accounting Software (e.g. Xero).
