Hiring Incharge Storage Tanks

Based Location : Abu Dhabi, UAE

• Minimum 15-year experience with major oil& gas companies or EPC companies dealing with tank farms, desludging, inspection, repair, maintenance, and rehabilitation of storage tanks. Overseas and/or Middle East experience is preferred.
• Should have site experience storage tanks rehabilitation & maintenance, tanks cleaning & inspection, open, fixed & floating tanks, geodesic aluminium dome roofs, internal and external conventional, floating roofs, internal aluminium floating roof screens (pontoon and full contact types), spheres, bullets, tank farms.
• Fully conversant with API tank design codes (API 650, API 12F), have thorough knowledge on tank inspection, repair, alteration, and reconstruction (API 653, API 12R) and Fitness for Service API-579.
• Experience in construction of new storage tanks is an advantage.
• Able to review and provide inputs on Inspection Test Plan (ITP), NDTs and design calculations.
• Well versed with corrosion types and systems. Able to suggest mitigation to avoided corrosion.
• Knowledge in maintenance and project planning in the hydrocarbon processing industries.
• Experienced in material and equipment specification and selection.
• Should be able to solve technical issues and able to provide cost effective solutions for technical queries.
• Maintain excellent business relationships with clients.
• Incumbent should be a SME with the following technical knowledge and skills related to the maintenance and rehabilitation of storage tanks to handle operations team at site:
• Major tanks retrofits of floating and fixed roof tanks.
• Repair and maintenance in line with the inspection and testing plan.
• Shell nozzle modifications, associated piping, and instruments
• Replacement of primary and secondary mechanical rim seals of floating roof and screens
• Leak detection systems.
• Seismic and structural modifications and reinforcement.
• Internal lining, cathodic protections, painting, and coating system.
• Deluge system, firefighting and foam system modification and installation.
• Tanks foundations and bottom underneath soil beds
• Tank associated piping systems.
• Tank settlement and tank calibration techniques.
• Upgrading and capacity enhancement of tanks by increasing the height of tanks.
• Decommissioning, commissioning, and testing of storage tanks.
