Description:
Khione Electromechanical and A/C Works is seeking an experienced Accountant – Procurement Oversight to join its expanding team in Ras Al Khaimah. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional who can independently manage accounting functions while supporting procurement activities and maintaining financial compliance.
The successful candidate will oversee daily accounting operations, supplier management, VAT compliance, procurement documentation, and financial reporting. The role also requires close coordination with internal stakeholders, external auditors, banks, and tax advisors to ensure smooth financial operations and effective cost control.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger transactions.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, reconciliations, and management accounts.
• Handle UAE VAT accounting, reconciliations, and VAT return preparation.
• Support UAE Corporate Tax compliance and financial reporting.
• Oversee procurement activities, including supplier quotations, purchase orders, and payment processing.
• Maintain supplier records, procurement documentation, and financial controls.
• Assist with cash flow monitoring, budgeting, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and tax advisors.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Hands-on experience with UAE VAT reconciliations and VAT return preparation.
• Previous procurement, purchasing, or supplier management experience is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax requirements is an advantage.
• Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
• ACCA, CMA, CPA, CA, or equivalent qualification (completed or in progress) is beneficial.
• Experience within engineering, technical services, construction, or growing SMEs is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
