Description:
A company in Abu Dhabi is urgently looking for an experienced Accountant with a strong background in Food & Beverage and hospitality operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing accounting activities within restaurants, cafés, hotels, bars, or similar F&B environments.
The selected candidate will be responsible for handling financial operations, reconciliations, VAT-related activities, inventory monitoring, and financial reporting. Candidates without relevant F&B or hospitality accounting experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
• Handle UAE VAT filing and ensure compliance with tax requirements.
• Perform bank and supplier reconciliations accurately.
• Monitor stock levels, inventory records, and reconciliation processes.
• Track food costs, wastage, and operational variances.
• Perform inventory valuation and maintain accurate records.
• Support month-end closing activities and prepare financial reports.
• Maintain accounting documentation and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Requirements:
• Previous accounting experience in Food & Beverage, hospitality, restaurants, cafés, hotels, or similar operations.
• UAE accounting experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Good skills in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Immediate joiners are required.
