Description:
ADGT is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its growing team in Abu Dhabi. This full-time onsite opportunity is ideal for accounting professionals with strong expertise in financial reconciliations, settlements, reporting, and revenue management.
The successful candidate will manage accounting operations, support financial reporting activities, handle reconciliations, and ensure accurate financial records. Candidates with experience in fintech, payments, or financial services will be considered an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
• Perform bank, account, and transaction reconciliations.
• Handle payment settlements, settlement reconciliations, and resolve financial discrepancies.
• Manage revenue accounting, recognition, and reporting processes.
• Prepare financial reports and support month-end closing activities.
• Maintain general ledger records and ensure accuracy of accounting entries.
• Manage accounts payable, supplier payments, and expense-related activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and internal financial controls.
• Analyze financial data and provide accurate reporting to support business decisions.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar accounting position.
• Strong experience in bank, account, and transaction reconciliations.
• Hands-on experience with payment settlements and resolving discrepancies.
• Knowledge of revenue accounting, recognition, and reporting.
• Experience with financial reporting, month-end closing, and general ledger management.
• Experience handling accounts payable, supplier payments, and expense management.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with accounting software.
• Experience in fintech, payments, or financial services is an advantage.
