Description:
KAD is seeking a dedicated and safety-focused HSE Officer to join its growing infrastructure and construction team in Dubai. The organization is committed to maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance across all project sites and is looking for a professional who can actively contribute to building safer and more efficient work environments.
The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring that all construction activities are carried out in accordance with UAE safety regulations and internal company safety policies. This includes monitoring site activities, implementing safety procedures, and promoting a strong safety culture among workers and site teams.
The role is ideal for candidates with experience in UAE roads or infrastructure projects who can confidently manage site safety requirements in fast-paced construction environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify potential hazards or unsafe practices
• Implement and enforce safety procedures, policies, and risk control measures
• Prepare and maintain safety documentation, reports, and incident records
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness sessions for site workers
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and recommend corrective actions
• Coordinate with project engineers and site teams to ensure safe execution of construction activities
• Ensure compliance with UAE safety regulations and company HSE standards
• Promote a strong safety culture across all project sites
• Support emergency preparedness and response planning activities
Requirements:
• Previous experience in UAE construction, preferably roads or infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of HSE standards, procedures, and regulations
• Ability to conduct site inspections and safety audits effectively
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Ability to work in a demanding construction environment
• Relevant HSE certification or qualification preferred
