Focus Infotech is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join its team in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with extensive experience in business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and Agile delivery environments who can bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions.
The successful candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements while supporting product planning and continuous process improvement. Strong analytical thinking and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Elicit, analyse, document, and validate business requirements, translating them into user stories, features, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams to understand business objectives, customer journeys, and expected outcomes.
• Support backlog preparation and refinement to ensure requirements are ready for future Program Increments (PIs) and sprint planning.
• Facilitate discovery workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, process walkthroughs, and solution discussions.
• Analyse current and future business processes to identify gaps, risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.
• Document functional and non-functional requirements while maintaining requirement traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including PI Planning, backlog refinement, sprint planning, demonstrations, and retrospectives.
• Work closely with Product Owners and Product Managers to support feature prioritisation and alignment with business objectives.
• Define success measures and acceptance criteria to ensure delivered solutions meet agreed business requirements.
Requirements:
• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Strong experience gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies and product development teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to analyse business processes and recommend process improvements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Strong knowledge of:
• Business analysis methodologies and requirement management.
• Agile frameworks, backlog refinement, and sprint planning.
• Process mapping, user stories, acceptance criteria, and stakeholder collaboration.
