Description:
A professional finance and accounting team in Riyadh is seeking an experienced General Accountant to support day-to-day financial operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. This opportunity is ideal for accounting professionals with solid experience in financial management and compliance with Saudi financial regulations.
The selected candidate will play a key role in maintaining accounting records, preparing financial reports, managing general ledger activities, and supporting VAT and Zakat compliance. Candidates with ERP system experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in both Arabic and English are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial records.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi VAT, Zakat, and other applicable financial regulations.
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, accruals, and prepaid expenses.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Record financial transactions accurately using the company’s ERP system.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors when required.
• Contribute to maintaining strong financial controls and improving accounting processes.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5–7 years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi VAT and Zakat regulations.
• Practical experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

• General ledger accounting and financial reporting
