Description:
TAD Logistics is currently hiring a dedicated and customer-oriented Customer Service Representative to join its operations team in JAFZA, Dubai. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about customer service and have a strong understanding of logistics and freight forwarding operations. The selected candidate will serve as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring smooth communication and efficient coordination of all shipment-related activities.
The role requires someone who can manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced logistics environment while maintaining high standards of service quality and operational accuracy. The ideal candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling customer queries with professionalism and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle customer inquiries through phone, email, and chat regarding shipments, delivery status, sales, and documentation
• Provide accurate, timely updates and solutions to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
• Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to ensure smooth shipment processing and delivery flow
• Process bookings, track shipments, and continuously update customers on shipment status
• Prepare, verify, and maintain accurate shipping and logistics documentation
• Resolve customer complaints and issues proactively while ensuring timely follow-up until resolution
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and service quality standards
• Maintain proper records of all customer interactions and shipment activities
• Support operational efficiency by collaborating with logistics and operations teams
Requirements:
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in customer service within logistics or freight forwarding industry
• Strong understanding of logistics operations, shipping processes, and Incoterms
• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken)
• Additional language skills will be considered an advantage
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and familiarity with logistics systems is preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Must be currently based in Dubai or available for immediate joining
