AF – Group is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Customer Service Representative I to join its policy services team in Lansing, Michigan. This role focuses on providing administrative support, accurate data entry, and policy issuance assistance within a structured insurance operations environment.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing policy documentation, ensuring accuracy across all transactions, and supporting internal teams in maintaining efficient workflow. Key Responsibilities:
• Type policies and endorsements using Policy Issuance and Microsoft Word systems
• Enter daily policy and endorsement data into Century’s Information Management System (CIMS)
• Ensure accuracy across all stages of policy issuance and processing
• Manage policy transactions in line with standard operating procedures
• Conduct basic classification, sorting, and organization of documents
• Perform limited research when required
• Participate in training programs and complete required certifications
• Maintain high performance standards including quality and productivity metrics
• Collaborate effectively with team members and departments
• Provide professional customer service support when needed
Requirements:
• High School Diploma required
• Prior experience in data entry or administrative roles preferred
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint)
• Ability to learn and adapt to multiple internal systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
