Description:
A company in Dubai is urgently seeking a Collection Officer to manage customer follow-ups, overdue payments, and collection activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining regular communication with customers and supporting the timely resolution of outstanding payments.
The role requires a target-oriented professional who can handle a high volume of daily calls, understand reasons for payment defaults, and negotiate effectively with customers to encourage payment regularisation.
Candidates must currently be based in Dubai and should be comfortable working from Monday to Saturday while following established collection procedures and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Follow up with customers regarding upcoming and overdue payments.
• Make approximately 100–150 calls daily and work toward payment regularisation.
• Identify reasons for payment defaults and negotiate with customers to encourage timely payments.
• Achieve collection targets assigned by the Team Leader.
• Handle customer queries professionally and provide appropriate assistance.
• Record and update all customer interactions in the collection system.
• Use assigned recorded lines for all customer calls.
• Follow company policies, collection procedures, and established guidelines.
Requirements:
• Experience in collections, tele-collection, banking, or financial services is preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Target-oriented approach with good customer-handling abilities.
• Ability to manage a high volume of customer calls effectively.
• Professional approach when dealing with customer queries and payment concerns.
• Must be currently based in Dubai.
• Willingness to work Monday to Saturday.
