Description:
An established high-end catering company in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to oversee its finance and accounting operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with a strong background in the catering, hospitality, restaurant, hotel, or food production industry.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with UAE financial regulations, and supporting the organization’s financial planning. Candidates who are currently based in the UAE and can join within a short notice period will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, VAT regulations, payroll, and WPS requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors and financial institutions during audits and financial reviews.
• Implement and monitor internal financial controls to support business operations.
Requirements:
• 5–8 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Previous experience in catering, hospitality, restaurants, hotels, or food production.
• Strong knowledge of UAE accounting practices, VAT, WPS, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Cash flow management
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Internal controls, leadership, and analytical skills
