Description:
A growing electronics trading company is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join its team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge along with previous experience in electronics trading, particularly used phones or mobile phone trading.
The selected candidate will manage daily accounting operations, handle financial transactions, support VAT compliance, monitor inventory-related accounting activities, and assist with reporting and audit requirements while ensuring accurate financial records are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and account reconciliations.
• Manage sales and purchase transactions related to electronics trading operations.
• Prepare financial reports, statements, and support month-end closing activities.
• Monitor inventory-related accounting and stock transactions.
• Assist with UAE VAT returns and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide support during internal and external audits.
Requirements:
• Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Previous experience in used phones or mobile phone trading is mandatory.
• Experience in electronics trading and sales accounting.
• Knowledge of Odoo accounting software is preferred.
• Audit experience is an added advantage.
• Good understanding of UAE VAT regulations and accounting practices.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage financial records accurately and meet deadlines.
