Job Description:

As a Full-Stack Developer at Amber Homes, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining landing pages and maintaining websites that facilitate property management, bookings, and guest experiences. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring seamless and user-friendly online interactions for our guests and property owners. You will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment where your expertise in both front-end and back-end development will be essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Front-End Development:

• Create and implement user-friendly interfaces for our website and mobile applications, ensuring a smooth and visually appealing user experience.
• Optimise applications for performance, speed, and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create an attractive and intuitive design.

Back-End Development:

• Develop robust server-side logic and APIs using languages such as Python, Node.js, or Ruby.
• Design and maintain databases to ensure data security, integrity, and performance.
• Implement scalable server architecture to accommodate our growing business.

Integration and Functionality:

• Ensure smooth communication and interaction between front-end and back-end components.
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues to maintain high functionality and performance.
• Continuously improve and refactor code to adhere to high-quality standards.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including property management and customer service, to define technical requirements and deliver on project goals.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and foster knowledge sharing.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer or a similar role.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of back-end development using server-side languages and databases.
