Description:
Baylor Genetics is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Processing Specialist to join its laboratory operations team. The role focuses on accurately reviewing, processing, and managing laboratory test orders in a fast-paced and highly detail-sensitive environment.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring data accuracy and integrity across internal systems by processing laboratory information, verifying test data, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve discrepancies. This position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a remote team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Accurately input and process data into internal systems, databases, and spreadsheets
• Review and verify laboratory test data for completeness and accuracy
• Perform routine data audits to maintain data integrity
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with internal departments
• Maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation of laboratory data
• Provide feedback on process improvements and operational challenges
