Description:

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a skilled and analytical Data Analyst to support federal clients in organizational assessment, data analytics, and business process improvement. This role is part of the Strategy and Performance Group and focuses on delivering data-driven insights, visualization solutions, and consulting support for government agencies.

The successful candidate will work closely with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to analyze requirements, develop data solutions, and present actionable insights. This position also involves creating dashboards, reports, and presentations while supporting process improvement initiatives using modern analytics tools and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support evaluation of client requirements and develop data-driven solutions and strategies

• Design and implement data analytics and visualization tools and processes

• Collaborate with project teams and provide ongoing task support and updates

• Develop reports, presentations, briefs, and client deliverables

• Maintain documentation, version control, and project files using SharePoint/Teams

• Participate in client meetings and stakeholder briefings

• Manage timelines, schedules, and status reporting for assigned tasks

• Support implementation of Microsoft Power Platform solutions (Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automate)

• Assist in business process improvement and organizational assessment initiatives

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in data analytics, consulting, or human capital-related fields

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

• Experience creating reports, dashboards, and written deliverables for stakeholders

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Experience with data analytics and visualization tools (Power BI preferred)

• Ability to work in a collaborative consulting environment

• Eligibility to obtain federal security clearance (if required)
