Your mission:

  • To provide fast, accessible and digital financial solutions for SMEs across MENA. In this role, that means:
  • You support on major business decisions through financial planning, analysis and forecasting
  • You act as a business partner across the organization, and a strategic advisor for the Finance Director

Success for you means:

  • Provide actionable insights to senior leadership through performance and financial analysis
  • Inputs to this success metric are:
  • Cross departmental collaboration
  • Delivery of monthly reporting pack internally and externally
  • Creating dynamic dashboards for internal and external use

Day-to-day you will:

  • Provide FP&A support to the finance team and senior leadership team related to productivity, demand planning, reporting, and metrics in a timely manner.
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts, variance analyses, long-term planning, risk/opportunity assessments, and periodic/ad hoc reporting
  • Identify and understand business challenges; propose and create solutions.
  • Dive deeply into both financial and non-financial data and become a subject matter expert to provide additional insights.
  • Work on corporate projects and initiatives that impact the entire organization.
  • Create presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made.
  • Partner with the accounting team during the close process, which includes reviewing departmental general ledgers, recording transactional activity, preparing revenue and expense accruals, and providing P&L and Cash variance explanations to budget and forecasts
  • Identify and research variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.
  • Support with necessary account and system reconciliations
  • Support the wider finance team with regulatory and group reporting

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 year of experience in finance or accounting or a related area
  • General knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles
  • Experience developing financial reports and metrics
  • Experience working with financial services products
  • Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment
  • Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
  • Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others through effective verbal and written communication
  • Demonstrated ability to drive projects across an organization
