Business Development Manager (Construction Company) – Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction industry, including residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and other industry professionals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to prepare and submit bids, proposals, and tender documents for construction projects.
  • Participate in networking events, trade shows, and industry conferences to promote the company and generate leads.
  • Negotiate and close contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring profitability and compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor and track market developments, industry regulations, and emerging trends to identify business opportunities.
  • Provide market feedback and insights to senior management to support decision-making and business planning.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients and stakeholders to showcase the company’s capabilities and services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, business administration, or a related field and a minimum of 10 years of experience in the UAE Market.
  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or a similar role within the construction industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of the construction industry, including market dynamics, project lifecycle, and industry players.
  • A strong network of contacts within the construction industry, including clients, contractors, architects, and engineers.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand technical specifications and project requirements.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • The results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with internal departments.
