Hiring Accountant (Finance & Operations)

Location: Dubai, UAE

Finance & Accounting:

• Manage and supervise all accounting and finance functions
• Reconcile monthly activity, generating year-end reports, and fulfil tax-related requirements
• Verify and track financial transactions and create detailed expense reports
• Maintain records according to generally accepted accounting principles including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and reconciliation of bank statements
• Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status

Operations:

• Maintain operations and financial shipment reports
• Liaise with authorities for all import and export documentation and handle all import and export logistic charges
• Update payment postings and timely document invoices
• Ensure all invoices of suppliers and clients are up-to-date and accurate
• Maintain shipment tracking schedules on all purchase orders
• Manage collections and balance payments from clients
• Prepare and update statements of accounts for each client
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as and when required

Job Requirements:

• Degree in finance, accounting, or similar qualification
• Proven track record in accounting operations, financial management, financial reporting analysis, and budgeting
• Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP’s and pivot tables
• Worked with ERP/CRM systems and ideally used Tally software
