Description:
Matrix Finishes is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join its Finance & Accounts team in Dubai Production City. This opportunity is ideal for finance professionals with extensive UAE experience in the trading and distribution sector and a strong background in financial reporting, taxation, and ERP systems.
The successful candidate will oversee daily accounting operations, financial reporting, inventory accounting, statutory compliance, and management reporting while providing valuable financial insights to support strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily accounting operations and prepare financial statements.
• Prepare MIS reports, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
• Handle intercompany transactions and transfer pricing activities.
• Support UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Monitor receivables, payables, and working capital performance.
• Oversee inventory accounting, stock valuation, and internal control processes.
• Coordinate external audits and maintain accurate records using ODOO ERP.
• Provide financial analysis and reports to support management decision-making.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or M.Com Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• Minimum 10 years of total accounting experience, including at least 5 years as a Senior Accountant.
• UAE experience in the trading and distribution industry.
• Strong knowledge of ODOO ERP and Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Good understanding of IFRS, UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and inventory accounting.
• CA Inter, ACCA, or CMA qualification is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
