Looking for a very experienced Store Manager for a European brand hypermarket which will open its branches soon in the UAE.
The Store Manager is expected to oversee the activities of the store, provide effective management and ensure that the operations of the store are running smooth. They are also expected to always ensure that a top quality service is being delivered to the consumer that matches the customer’s expectations.
What is expected of you?
- Improve profits and attain sales targets
- Deal with all queries, complaints and other related customer service issues
- Interview and recruit new staff
- Organize and conduct training, orientation and supervise other departments’ managers
- Oversee stock control
- Complete all operational requirements of the store
- Monitor tasks given to individual staff and follow up on their results
- Coach staff to maintain positive result generation
- Maintain inventories and approve contracts
- Determine and authorize sales promotions
- Review merchandising and pricing policies
- Review operating and financial statements
What we are looking for:
- A candidate with a diploma or higher degree in relevant industry
- A candidate with previous experience in similar industry and worked for a well known hypermarket brand
- A candidate that knows how to handle difficult situations with obvious emotional intelligence
- A candidate who can relate to client’s complaints
- A candidate who speaks fluent english and arabic and has excellent communication skills (additional languages is a bonus)
- A candidate who is able to take responsibilities to plan and execute strategies
- A candidate with proven record of positively managing teams
- A candidate with financial and accounting literacy
