Assists the local Sales organization and customers in identifying the most suitable and cost-effective technical solutions. Provides technical support during meetings, product presentations, and negotiations, and also delivers product/ solution/ service-related training.
Gathers and helps prepare technical and commercial offers based on customer specifications, Local Business Unit/ feeder factory guidelines, and Sales organization instructions. Actively participates in project kickoff meetings.
Determines the cost of proposed solutions and communicates this information to the Sales organization. Identifies potential risks in bids, quotations, and estimates, considering various customers and channels.
Takes the lead in conducting risk reviews when necessary. Collaborates with support functions like legal, treasury, tax, health & safety, etc., to gather essential inputs.
Analyzes customer requirements and evaluates competitor offers using both general market information and insights provided by the Sales organization.
