Hiring QA/QC Manager – Abu Dhabi

There is a requirement for the service of a top-level Quality Assurance and Quality Control Manager who will be involved in EPC/maintenance/ projects, both onshore and offshore in Abu Dhabi. You will be joining one of the known EPC Contractors having its operations across many regions in the GCC.

Responsibilities:

The Manager QA/QC is expected to control all quality related aspects both with regards to projects and office. The ability to impose strict standards of quality control on all suppliers and sub-contractors engaged with the company is required.

Requirements

Experience Required:

  • Currently located in United Arab Emirates.
  • Experience delivering large EPC projects in the UAE.
  • Graduate with 15 years or Post-graduate with 12 years of experience in QA/QC with in Oil and Gas industry having exposure to EPC Projects.
  • 7years of GCC experience and working experience with ADNOC (UAE) is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Quality Manager position.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English.
  • Graduate / Post Graduate in Mechanical / Metallurgy / Welding Engineering discipline
  • IRCA, UK Registered Lead Assessor, ASQ Quality Auditor or equivalent (Desirable)
  • CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector (Desirable)
  • Audit Management qualified (Lead Auditor). Being an ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor is mandatory.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Extensive QA/QC experience in Design, Construction and Project management.
  • Extensive relevant experience in Onshore / Offshore oil and gas facility construction.
  • Management experience in establishment, operation and maintenance of quality management system in accordance with ISO/TS 29001/ISO 9000 with the capability of developing quality system, quality plans, work procedures and inspection plans.
  • Well versed in quality improvement techniques, resolving issues, carrying out root cause analysis and non-conformance investigations.
