Description:
A leading healthcare organization in Dubai is looking to recruit a highly qualified Specialist / Consultant Hemato-Oncologist to become part of its multidisciplinary medical team. This position is ideal for an experienced physician with strong clinical expertise in diagnosing and treating hematological cancers while providing compassionate, patient-focused oncology care.
The successful candidate will manage a wide range of hematological malignancies, develop personalized treatment plans, and work closely with oncology specialists, pathologists, and other healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and treat hematological malignancies, including leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma.
• Conduct detailed patient evaluations and create individualized treatment strategies.
• Interpret blood investigations, bone marrow examinations, and specialized diagnostic findings.
• Plan and administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted cancer treatments within approved clinical privileges.
• Monitor and manage treatment-related complications while providing supportive patient care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive oncology management.
Requirements:
• MBBS/MD or an equivalent recognized medical qualification.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Hematology or Hemato-Oncology.
• Board certification, fellowship, or an equivalent recognized Specialist/Consultant qualification.
• Relevant clinical experience in Hemato-Oncology after specialization.
• DHA Specialist/Consultant license or eligibility as per Dubai Health Authority requirements.
• Strong expertise in managing hematological malignancies and systemic cancer therapies.
• UAE PQR Tier 1 or Tier 2 qualifications will be an advantage.
• Experience in established cancer centers or advanced hematology-oncology departments is preferred.
• Previous UAE or GCC healthcare experience is desirable.
• Excellent communication, clinical decision-making, and teamwork abilities.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Hematological malignancies and modern oncology treatments.
• Chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies.
• Multidisciplinary cancer care and patient-centered treatment approaches.
