Hiring Procurement Officer – Gas Utility (Dubai)

We’re seeking a Procurement Officer to manage sourcing, negotiations, and acquisitions for gas utility operations. This role ensures cost-effective procurement while maintaining regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement & Sourcing: Identify suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain competitive pricing.
• Vendor & Contract Management: Oversee supplier performance and resolve disputes.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to UAE procurement laws and industry standards.
• Cost Optimization & Budgeting: Analyze market trends and implement cost-saving strategies.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and operations teams for seamless procurement.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Certifications (Preferred): CIPS, CPSM, PMP.
• Experience: 3–5 years in procurement within gas, energy, or utilities (UAE experience preferred).
• Skills: Strong negotiation, contract management, and ERP system knowledge (SAP, Oracle).
