Description:
A leading construction company is hiring experienced professionals for the positions of Technical Manager and Senior Technical Engineer to support the prestigious G+5P+45 Laguna by One Development project in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The ideal candidates will have extensive experience in engineering and technical project management, particularly within high-rise developments. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders while ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review technical drawings, project specifications, and BOQs to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Identify and resolve design clashes, site queries, and Requests for Information (RFIs).
• Conduct site inspections to ensure installations and construction activities meet approved quality standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare technical submittals, progress reports, and maintain accurate as-built documentation.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or Architecture.
• 10–15 years of hands-on experience in engineering, contracting, or technical project environments.
• UAE/GCC experience is preferred, particularly on high-rise building projects.
• Candidates must currently be based in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of:
• AutoCAD
• Revit and BIM
• MS Office and technical project documentation
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
