Description:
A supermarket in Dubai is urgently hiring an experienced Cashier to join its retail team. The ideal candidate should have prior cashier experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to handle billing and payment transactions accurately in a fast-paced environment.
The selected candidate will be responsible for processing customer purchases, managing cash and card transactions, operating POS systems, and ensuring a smooth checkout experience. Immediate joiners and candidates with their own visa are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process customer purchases and handle billing transactions accurately.
• Operate POS systems for cash, card, and other payment methods.
• Manage daily cash handling activities and maintain transaction accuracy.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service at the checkout counter.
• Assist customers with inquiries and ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain proper records and follow company cash handling procedures.
• Ensure the checkout area remains organized and efficient.
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Cashier, preferably in a supermarket or retail environment.
• Familiarity with POS systems, billing procedures, and cash/card transactions.
