Hiring Material Engineer – Abu Dhabi Experience Essential

We are currently looking for an amazingly talented Material Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will get to be involved in monitoring, inspection, coordination, witnessing, and documentation of all material of the project to ensure that the project is constructed as per Contract requirements and specifications

Job Responsibilities:

• Review the Contractor’s material submittals and obtain the required approvals according to the applicable standards and project specifications.
• Serves as the focal point for the scheduling and control of construction materials and equipment at the job site.
• Conducts inspections to determine if work has been done following contract specifications.
• Coordinates work of sub-consultants for material testing.
• Maintains office files related to the project, and material inspections and writes daily diaries.
• Prepares daily reports and other documentation, as required by the contract.
• Verifies that only approved materials are incorporated into the work.
• Recognizes potential conflicts, issues and problems in construction. materials, and reports to the supervisor with proposed solutions.
• Collects, reviews and files Certificate of Compliance, MSDS, inspection tags and other information relevant to the materials used.
• May provide technical guidance to lower level.
• Participates in the development of job safety practices and the preparation of safety reports.
• Participates in the development of quality control reports and procedures.
• Observe, check and record work execution by approved methods.
• Check materials delivered are approved and properly stored.

Qualification & Experience:

• You must have relevant experience in Abu Dhabi specifically to be considered.
• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or construction-related field, or equivalent construction-related work experience.
• At least 5 years of overall experience in construction and supervision projects,
