Description:
A leading organization specializing in the import, marketing, distribution, and representation of international consumer brands is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant / Accountant to join its team in Dubai. This role is ideal for a qualified Chartered Accountant with extensive experience managing accounting operations across multiple business entities.
The successful candidate will oversee daily accounting activities, financial reporting, taxation, profit and loss analysis, and expense management while ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The position also requires strong ERP expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with teams based in the United Kingdom and the Middle East.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations across multiple group companies.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports.
• Oversee taxation, profit and loss analysis, and expense management.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Maintain and optimize financial records using the Odoo ERP system.
• Coordinate with internal teams across the UK and Middle East to support financial operations.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Support audits and ensure the accuracy of financial documentation.
Requirements:
• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
• Minimum 8 years of accounting and finance experience.
• Strong expertise in taxation, financial reporting, and P&L management.
• Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must currently be based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
