We are currently seeking for a motivated Logistics Supervisor to join our team in Dubai, UAE.

 Job Summary:

 The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for coordinating all the movement of finished products to customers in a timely and cost-effective manner. In addition, monitor warehousing operations and storage areas utilization.

 Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Examines shipping costs and negotiates with carriers to reduce shipping expenses.
• Monitors and evaluates shipping reports to effectively schedule and plan freight for outgoing.
• Determines space requirements.
• Manages finished goods shipment processes.
• Prepares shipping documents for domestic and international shipments.
• Collaborates with sales, scheduling and production to achieve the Company’s key customer metric of On-Time Delivery and maintain accuracy of customer shipments.
• Track and Schedules maintenance of company-owned vehicles.
• Maintains accuracy of inventory by performing cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Increase the Utilization rate of company-owned vehicles.

 Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business or related filed.
• Minimum 5-7 years of work experience in logistic function, preferable in manufacturing company.
• Attention to detail.
• Effective Communication.
• Must be currently in UAE.

 KPIs:

• OTIF
• Fright costs per ton.
• No of trips per truck
• Inventory accuracy rate.

 Gross Salary up to AED 8,000
