Salvo Health is seeking experienced Medical Assistants to join its remote healthcare team. This role is ideal for organized and detail-oriented professionals who have experience supporting patients remotely, conducting outbound calls, and managing healthcare documentation.

The selected candidate will provide administrative support to the care team by handling patient intake calls, scheduling appointments, maintaining electronic health records, managing patient communications, and ensuring accurate documentation. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a patient-first approach in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct outbound calls with patients to complete intake meetings and gather required information.

• Manage patient scheduling, appointments, follow-ups, and care coordination tasks.

• Maintain accurate medical records, data entry, and documentation within EHR systems.

• Monitor, triage, and respond to incoming patient messages.

• Update patient records and ensure documentation is completed accurately and on time.

• Support compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.

• Provide administrative assistance to healthcare teams and patients.

• Manage assigned patient tasks to ensure timely communication and documentation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Medical Assistant, Virtual Medical Assistant, or healthcare administrative support professional.

• Experience working remotely in a healthcare setting is preferred.

• Experience conducting outbound patient calls.

• Experience with GI conditions is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, eCW, or gGastro.

• Experience with message triaging, charting, and medical documentation.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Familiarity with telemedicine platforms is an advantage.
