Description:
GS IT Infrastructure is looking for an experienced IT Procurement Specialist to join its team in Dubai Silicon Oasis. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a strong background in the system integration industry and hands-on experience managing the procurement of ICT, AV, ELV, and AI products and solutions.
The successful candidate will oversee the procurement cycle, coordinate with distributors, vendors, and channel partners, and ensure the timely sourcing of technology products while supporting project and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle for IT products and solutions.
• Source ICT, AV, ELV, and AI products through distributors, vendors, and channel partners.
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely deliveries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and technology partners.
• Support procurement activities while ensuring cost-effective purchasing and product availability.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2.5 years of experience in IT procurement or the system integration industry.
• Hands-on experience sourcing ICT, AV, ELV, and AI products and solutions.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and vendor management.
• Experience working with distributors, vendors, and channel partners.
• Exposure to leading ICT brands such as HP, Cisco, Dell, Fortinet, Sophos, Lenovo, Synology, Ubiquiti (UniFi), Huawei, Safetica, Buffalo, and HP Aruba (HPE).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
• Strong knowledge of:
