Expeed International Logistics is actively seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Senior Operations Manager to lead and oversee its UAE logistics operations. This leadership position is ideal for a logistics professional with extensive industry knowledge, strong operational management capabilities, and proven experience handling end-to-end freight forwarding and supply chain activities within the UAE market.
The successful candidate will be responsible for directing daily operational functions, managing a team of logistics professionals, ensuring smooth shipment execution, and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders including shipping lines, airlines, customs authorities, transportation providers, and warehouse partners. The role requires a hands-on leader capable of driving operational efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of service and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of 7–10 operations professionals across multiple logistics functions
• Manage the complete execution cycle of freight forwarding and logistics operations throughout the UAE
• Oversee sea freight and air freight operations to ensure timely and efficient shipment movement
• Coordinate import and export activities while ensuring compliance with local regulations and operational procedures
• Supervise Dubai Customs documentation and Bill of Entry (BOE) processing activities
• Manage free zone warehousing operations and inventory movement processes
• Coordinate GCC trucking activities, border clearance requirements, and cross-border transportation operations
• Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve operational challenges, delays, and customer escalations
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with shipping lines, airlines, customs authorities, transport companies, and logistics partners
• Ensure operational performance targets, service standards, and compliance requirements are consistently achieved
• Prepare operational reports and provide updates to senior management regarding performance, issues, and improvement initiatives
Required Expertise:
• Strong practical experience in sea freight operations
• Extensive knowledge of air freight handling and coordination
• Expertise in Dubai Customs regulations and BOE processing procedures
• Experience managing free zone warehousing activities
• Comprehensive understanding of GCC trucking operations and border clearance processes
• Strong background in import and export logistics management
• Proven ability to lead and manage operational teams effectively
